Technology Sales Consultant
Role:Technology Consultant
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Technology Sales Consultant role sits within the Commercial team and is directly involved in all phases of the customer engagement strategy. The Technology Consultant will work with team members to achieve set business goals and targets which include recurring opex revenues, service delivery & team growth.
You will be directly responsible for building and owning strategic customer relationships, using your skills to uncover opportunities to drive the growth of our products, solutions & services.
Responsibilities
• Achieve set business goals & targets / KPI’s
• Engage with leads & prospect customers to understand their business needs and objectives
• Work with our services team to deliver successful service projects
• Engage with solutions team to deliver successful projects
• Follow up on any sales opportunities, communicating relevant information clearly
• Form and maintain strong relationships with new and existing business customers
• Become an expert on the company’s products and be able to pitch them effectively to current
and potential customers.
Requirements
• Experience at meeting or exceeding targets
• Experience at developing and maintaining good customer relationships
• Ability to position products against competitors
• Good knowledge of our technology stack
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Be able to demonstrate good knowledge of the industry and markets in which the company operates
• Have an aptitude for sales and spotting business opportunities.
• Be able to demonstrate good time management and planning skills.
