Senior Account Manager (AM)

About the Role:
An established Value-Added Reseller (VAR) based in South Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Account Manager (AM) to join their growing team. As a result of this growth, they are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AM to proactively excel at building strong client relationships – both new and existing – by gaining a deep understanding of the business challenges and communication needs. You will identify opportunities to deliver impactful solutions and services that provide real value to their organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned client accounts.
– Build and nurture long-term relationships across both new and existing clients.
– Respond to client enquiries, qualify leads, and prepare accurate quotations.
– Drive new business through networking, prospecting, and participation in marketing initiatives.
– Collaborate with major technology brands and clients.
– Meet and exceed targets related to gross profit and other key performance indicators.
– Develop a solid understanding of the client’s product and service offerings.

Experience & Requirements:
– Proven experience in B2B IT sales, including lead generation, qualification, and opportunity management.
– Confident in generating your own leads and uncovering new opportunities.
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to guide productive discussions and achieve outcomes.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with solid presentation and numerical ability.
– Experience using NetSuite CRM is a plus, though not essential.
