About the Role:
A leading award-winning Value-Added Reseller (VAR) based in London is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their growing team. With over 20 years of experience, more than 500 certifications, and 50+ vendor accreditations, this well-established yet agile company is committed to empowering clients through cutting-edge technology and exceptional service – built on trust, transparency, and results. This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 from home) offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the enterprise space. The ideal candidate will be a proactive BDM focused on driving growth through new client acquisition, re-engaging lapsed accounts, and leveraging strategic partnerships with key vendors such as Cisco and Microsoft. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative IT solutions across cloud, infrastructure, managed services, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
– Identify, engage, and convert new enterprise clients across key sectors to drive revenue growth.
– Reconnect with former customers to re-establish strategic partnerships.
– Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting enterprise clients for managed IT services.
– Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to deal closure – focusing on multi-year managed service agreements.
– Cultivate and grow high-value opportunities within new accounts.
– Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, aligning solutions with their business and technology needs.
– Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
– Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored, solution-based offerings.

Experience & Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years in IT sales, with at least 2 years in enterprise managed services or a VAR environment.
– Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets, especially in full-cycle sales roles with a focus on new business development.
– Experience closing complex deals valued at £200k+ GM annually, particularly within mid-sized to large enterprise environments (500+ users).
– Strong ability to engage and build lasting relationships with C-level executives and stakeholders.
