About the Role:
A specialist automation consultancy with a global reach, operating across the Netherlands, UK, and US is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer. Their focus is on helping organizations accelerate their digital transformation through intelligent automation, cloud-native technologies, and agile practices. From innovative start-ups to established enterprises, they deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that drive meaningful change. The client is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join their Amsterdam-based team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a variety of clients. Working within agile, cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to automation strategies, DevOps best practices, and cloud-native deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
– Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
– Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to streamline delivery workflows.
– Monitor and optimize system performance in Linux-based environments.
– Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
– Contribute to the evolution of our internal DevOps practices and support knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements:
– 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
– Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
– Strong Linux system administration and shell scripting skills.
– Experience in Agile environments and a strong understanding of DevOps principles.
– Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
– Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
